Listen to/watch all seven songs on YouTube. Follow our daily updated playlists on YouTube and Spotify for the 50 latest Song Picks of the Day. Thank you for following us and sharing the excitement.

Wila Frank released one of our favorite albums in spring of last year. Now she is back with her friend Emily Mann as Paper Wings for a new song “Mad Thing.” Emily says, “This song has big raccoon energy.” It is also a lot of fun, in particular when enjoyed with the video.

The duo Glas is another all-female collaboration, this time from the other side of the Atlantic. With “Hungry Moon,” Danish musicians Lisbet Fritze and Louise Foo tackle big topics: “The song raises the impossible questions about the well-being of our planet, addressing big-scale frustrations while simultaneously delving into human feelings of big dreams, loss and insufficiency.”

Go listen to Danielle Durack’s new album Escape Artist, out now. Also, watch the video for “Dean,” a goodbye gift for her late stepfather. “1500 stills, hours of editing, hours of exacto-knife-ing, and hours of moving everything a centimeter at a time,” Danielle recalls.

In his new song “Homesick” Ryan Downie, aka RYD, reflects about the complexities of getting older and meeting your own and other people’s expectations: “Sometimes you wish you could just go home and not have any responsibilities,” he says and we all can relate to that.

LUST” is a new all-capital banger by Canadian singer/songwriter FRANKIE FLOWERS. “We’re all longing for something,” she explains.

If you ever have a chance to see Georgia live, don’t miss it. The UK musician is a beast on stage, and if you think you cannot sit behind a drum set and put on a hell of a show, she’ll prove you otherwise. Her new song, “Too Much Too Little,” gives a hint how she does it: infectious, high energy dance music.

Warpaint recently celebrated their 20th birthday as a band. For the occasion they released a beautiful new single “Common Blue.” Will there be a new album too? There have been hints that they are working on more new material, so maybe we can hope for a follow-up to 2022’s Radiate Like This later this year. For now, let’s celebrate with them by watching the video filmed by their longtime tour manager Robin Laananen:
